There are several different types of psychotherapy and some types may work better with certain problems or issues. Psychotherapy may be used in combination with medication or other therapies.

I dedicated my last six years supporting children, adults, youth, and families with different socio-economic needs and from diverse communities facing immigration challenges, life transitions, loss, anxiety, and trauma. Life can be tough sometimes, the good thing is you do not need to do it all by yourself. We will work collaboratively to get you inspired and equipped with multiple positive coping tools. With the use of a variety of therapeutic approaches and a multicultural framework, I will tailor the therapy to suit your needs as we work together to attain your goals.

I work with adolescents (14+) and adults from all backgrounds in a safe, open, and non-judgmental environment with the aim to understand your worldview and your experiences in it. I can help with anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, multicultural issues, relationship issues, stress, and trauma.

Previously, I have worked with adults in homeless shelters experiencing difficult life transitions and those struggling with addictions. I have also worked with youth who have behavioural issues in a mental health rehabilitation center. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) and an EMDR Therapist. I have completed my Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology and possess a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Based on my experiences and education, I have garnered an empathetic perception of the uniqueness of each individual’s life struggles.
